Danish Pathology Society do not want cytopathology to be a subspeciality of pathology.
Danish Pathology Society want to continue the way pathology is organized in Denmark and in other contries: the diagnostic work, the scientific work and the education in pathology include morbid anatomy, histopathology (with immunohistochemestry), cytopathology (with immunocytochemestry), molecular pathology et cetera. All this fields are integreted parts of pathology and should not be separated.
